CMC, Inc. (Commercial Mechanical Construction, Inc.) is a corporation based in Gap, PA, fully insured and bondable, equipped to perform commercial mechanical construction. Our expertise lies in the installation of plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

The company was incorporated in 1982 and founded by Linford Horst and Steve Beiler as partners. Their relationship was developed by working together for W. S. Horst, Inc., a plumbing and HVAC company begun in the early 1950’s by Linford’s father and dissolved in 1983.

Christopher and Oliver Horst also work as part of the team, making them third generation contractors working in the business. Chris and Oliver work in estimating as well as project management and purchasing. Oliver recently obtained his Green Advantage Environmental certification for Commercial Construction. Eric Hodgdon is also a Project Manager and Estimator. He brings many years of field experience and expertise to the office. With over 25 years of experience, Karen Sagnor offers efficient administrative support as well as handling all of the bookkeeping duties.
